Are my items in stock?
Ocean Electronics tries hard to maintain accurate availability
status. However, until our real-time inventory process is
complete, it is possible (although rare) for some item statuses
to not be up-to-the-minute accurate. Lack of real-time
inventory is usually only a problem for quantity orders.
In other words the status correctly shows in-stock because one
is available but a backorder occurs when you purchase more than
quantity of one. If you are concerned about availability
of your item, please feel free to contact us.
What about backorders?
We encourage customers to get their place in line if an item is
out of stock. Ocean Electronics does not charge the credit
card until the order ships and you may cancel the backorder at
any time. Due to our flat rate shipping policy, orders are
held until all items are in-stock. If you prefer to
receive in-stock items immediately, please place a separate
order (meaning an additional flat rate shipping fee).
Most
backordered items arrive within 1-2 weeks from the time the
order is placed. If a backorder lasts more than four weeks, the
credit card authorization will have expired so we may need to
contact you to replace the order. While this may be
inconvenient, it is necessary due to the exceptional credit card
protection policies by Yahoo Stores and Ocean Electronics.
What are my payment options?
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover,
and Paypal online. You may also place your order by mailing a copy of the item
page with a check or money order enclosed. Please be
aware that orders placed with personal checks require up to two additional
weeks to process. For your security, please do not send cash.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping at Ocean Electronics is safe. One of the main reasons we selected
Yahoo Stores for our ecommerce partner is due to the exceptional
security.
***Yahoo! Store uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when
transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial
services information or payment information. An icon resembling
a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window
during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other
forms of payment. Any time a Yahoo! Store asks for a credit card
number during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted.
The information you provide will be stored securely on our
servers.

Is gift wrapping available?
We take great pride in our packaging - each order is carefully
packaged using environmentally friendly materials. At this time we do not offer gift
wrapping services although we do offer gift invoices. Ocean
Electronics gift invoices are similar to our normal invoices
with the exception that they do not contain pricing information.
Please be aware that the order confirmation email does contain
pricing information regardless of the type of invoice accompanying
the shipment.
Are gift invoices available?
Yes! During the checkout process you may use the comments section to
request a gift invoice be enclosed with your order. Ocean
Electronics gift invoices are similar to our normal invoices

Where can I enter a coupon or promotional code?
Occasionally we offer coupon or promotional codes to our customers.
To use one of these codes, please enter the code on the "Payment"
page of our checkout process. If you place your order over the
phone, please inform the customer service agent that you have a
code. Only one coupon code may be used per order.
How do I order by Mail or Fax?
You may place your order by printing a copy of the item page and
mailing a check or money order to Ocean Electronics 4711 Hope

How much do you charge for shipping?
Ocean Electronics uses flat rate shipping for orders shipped to
contiguous United States. Whether you buy one item for a few
dollars or hundreds of items for thousands of dollars, the flat
rates are seen in this chart:

AK/HI
residents must pay published rates for air delivery. Certain items
(particularly antennas over 8 feet) must be shipped via Truck Freight
and are not eligible for flat rate shipping. We reserve the right to "downgrade" the ship method if a less expensive option allows the order to arrive on or before the Estimated Delivery Date.
Shipping fees are always non-refundable.
Can I track my order?
Yes!
Once your order is shipped, you will be sent an email confirmation.
Your email confirmation will include applicable UPS tracking or
postal delivery confirmation information.
What is Ocean Electronics' return policy?
Money Back Guarantee: If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a
product purchased from Ocean Electronics, you may return it within 30 days from
invoice date for an exchange, merchandise credit or refund (excluding shipping
and handling charges), subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are
non-refundable. No returns are accepted on used items, items that are not in
original condition, software, or custom order items. Products designated as "all
sales final", "no returns", or similar language may not be returned.
Defective Returns: If your product is not functioning properly, please
contact Ocean Electronics customer service as soon as possible (and not later
than 30 days from invoice date). In most instances, we can assist you in
diagnosing and resolving your product problems. In instances of product defect,
we will replace the product with an even exchange of the same item, subject to
in-stock availability.
Please
allow ten (10) business days for your return/exchange to be
processed. Initial shipping fees and return shipping costs are
non-refundable.
Who pays for return shipping?
You do. Please understand we offer the absolute lowest prices
possible. If we were charging outrageous prices for our items,
as some of our largest competitors do, we could afford to include
pre-paid labels for returns. However, we have given this much
thought and have realized that more than 99% of customers do not
return items. Those customers prefer the lowest prices.
Ocean Electronics does not believe it is fair for all customers to
pay higher prices in order to cover the expenses of those who wish
to return.
We suggest using an insured and traceable ship method.
Your return will be processed and your credit card credited within
ten business days. Please allow up to two billing cycles for a
refund to appear on your credit card statement.
In the unlikely event that we have inadvertently sent you
incorrect merchandise or you received merchandise damaged by delivery,
please notify us immediately. We will either send prepaid label
or reimburse you for the cost
of returning the package to us.
How do I return something?
Return Authorizations: A valid Return Authorization (RA) number, issued within 30 days
of original invoice date, must accompany all products returned to Ocean
Electronics. After 30 days from purchase we can no longer issue an RA and will
refer you to the manufacturer for warranty service. RA's expire fifteen (15)
days after they are issued and cannot be extended or re-issued. All returned
products must be in original packaging, with all packaging,
manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation included.
A valid RA number must be written clearly and conspicuously on the outside of
the packaging. Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused.
